Read this when you were rejected before anyone got to know you. ⚡
Book Review No. 02: Frankenstein (1818) by Mary Shelley.
Victor builds a living creature, then runs the moment it opens its eyes. The creature teaches himself to read by watching a family through a gap in their cottage wall, hoping they'll take him in. When he finally speaks to them, they drive him away.
Mary Shelley started it at 18. It's still the truest book about what rejection does to someone.
