What it is
"One of Us" is a song from Joan Osborne's debut album Relish, written by Eric Bazilian of the Hooters and released as the lead single in November 1995. It imagines God as an ordinary, relatable person and asks how listeners would respond to such a God, including whether they would still hold their beliefs.
