Who it's for
Moby builds the track around old gospel voices asking why the heart feels so weighed down, set against a slow, hopeful-sounding beat.

What it is
"Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" is a 1999 single from Moby's fifth album, Play. It is built on gospel vocal samples from a 1963 recording of "He'll Roll Your Burdens Away" by The Banks Brothers, over which Moby placed minor chords to make the originally upbeat vocal melancholy.
